Compact Cassette

Enjoy this tribute to the compact cassette! And for the authentic experience, you really should record this to tape (a little too hot) and wind it up on your old Walkman!

Compact Casette Artwork

One of my fondest memories of working with audio is the compact cassette. Be it recording stuff on my 'my first Sony,' bootlegging songs off the radio, or geeking out about tape deck saturation. Nowadays, audio is always crystal clear, available in high-fidelity wherever there is an internet connection. There is no risk of your Walkman slowing down due to low batteries or the tape getting stuck; Pencils are for writing and drawing once again. This song is my little tribute to the compact cassette.

Old-school melody stabs top its bouncy percussion. A steady low end works wonders in driving the track to its synth solo climax. Enjoy this tribute to the compact cassette! And for the authentic experience, you really should record this to tape (a little too hot) and wind it up on your old Walkman!
